Epic Surf day in Montezuma
June 22, 2009… a day of epic surf in Montezuma. One or twice a year, the waves come in large enough to surf the point inside Montezuma bay, right next to town. Usually the surf is closing out on the Santa Teresa side, so when that happens, surfers “in the know” will check out this point to see if it’s working. On this day, the waves were large enough to wash up onto the asphalt road in the town of Montezuma.
